	Action Mental Health and the Ulster Community and Hospitals Trust led the partnership which developed Daisies Café. Other organisations have provided ongoing and critical support to Daisies to ensure its continuing success. In particular the Ards and North Down Peace Partnership Boards have enabled Daisies to become a successful social firm which contributes to the local economy and provides day care, training and employment for residents of both boroughs. Ards New Horizons staff were involved in the refurbishment of the Ards Hospital wards which were transformed into Daisies Café. They made the food counters and the radiator covers at their Jubilee Road premises. The practice of using suppliers from the Ards and North Down areas means that many local businesses have benefited from Daisies’ custom.
